Position Summary

The Senior Salesforce Application Administrator at South Jersey Industries is a crucial role that leverages expert knowledge of sales processes and organizational needs to drive technology solutions for complex business problems. This position requires outstanding troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, serving as an internal functional and technical subject matter expert for the business and technical teams. The incumbent will have an in-depth understanding of the Salesforce system and work closely with business partners and stakeholders to develop effective solutions. Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the client group in identifying issues, understanding the business needs, and providing solutions

  • Drive business solutions by maintaining and applying a broad knowledge of the information technology environment

  • Serve as the applications subject matter expert to assist with developing system testing processes, communicating complicated technical concepts to business leaders, and collaboratively guiding teams

  • Provide advanced support to end users, resolve problems, and deliver effective solutions while maintaining the integrity and performance of the application

  • Maintain system setup codes, configurations, and up-to-date documentation in accordance with best practices; promote high performance of the system, reduce downtime, and optimize user productivity

  • Develop advanced ad-hoc reports and queries for analyzing data

  • Coordinate business processes throughout enterprise application systems and assist in the support of complex business solutions

  • Recommend new solutions and upgrades in alignment with strategic plans and business needs

    Required Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Conga, with an in-depth knowledge in the functional aspects of various enterprise systems and how they support the business.

  • Experienced with Salesforce integrations.

  • Expert knowledge in process mapping and Microsoft Visio (Process Drawings)

  • Understanding of Windows-based hardware and software applications

  • Excellent analytical skills in diagnosing complex application problems and developing solutions

  • Capable of working proactively, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop relationships and excellent client relations and customer service skills

    Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator

  • Expert experienced in Salesforce Field Cloud and scheduler.

  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce Einstein AI

  • Experience in the energy or utility industry

Qualifications

Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Experience in the support of corporate enterprise systems
