We are seeking an Electrician that will ensure the highest reliability of their assigned systems/components. As part of primary duties, you will also be responsible for supporting the execution of timely and cost effective outages.

Job Overview
Accountabilities: The primary function of this classification is to perform preventive, minor and major maintenance on plant electrical equipment. He/she works under the direction of the Chief Electrician. Operates all types of power and hand tools, forklifts and mobile and gantry cranes. Uses a variety of meters and test equipment. Performs preventive, minor and major maintenance on plant electrical equipment. eads and works from schematics and control wiring diagrams and blueprints. The itinerant classification requires travel away from home for extended periods to other plant locations within the FPL system in order to support outage work. Minimum requirements for job:
• Must be able to pass eye exam showing person is not color blind.
• Shall have previously held the classification of a Journeyman Electrician with FPL -OR-
• Must have satisfactorily completed the Joint Apprentice Electrician program, or have comparable qualifications.
• Shall have three years working experience in one or more crafts.
