Job Function

Manages public use of company lands in compliance with federal hydro licensing requirements. Builds and maintains facilities and provides parks education and services to the public.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Work and Vendor Management May serve as a resource to other technicians May perform maintenance tasks using tools and equipment, including renovating and repairing irrigation systems, upgrading water and septic systems, restoring landscaped areas and general maintenance. Assists with construction in accordance with plans and specifications. Monitors contract workers in accordance with scope of work. May perform janitorial duties.

Program Administration Coordinates related activities. Installs and/or maintains signage to ensure public safety.

Assists Environmental Services employees in other department activities as needed.

Safety Adheres to PGE standards, safety objectives and regulatory requirements.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Education Requires high school diploma or successful completion of General Education Development (GED) test.

Experience Typically two or more years of experience in parks, hospitality, resource management or other related field.

Certifications, Licenses and Training Public Pesticide Applicator’s License (PPA, ODA), Small Water Systems Operator (SWS Operator, ODS), Certified Playground Safety Inspection (CSPI, NRPA) preferred.

Compensation Range:

$26.15 - $39.23

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
