Are you someone who has an advanced level of technical understanding of an OT operating environment and the impacts systems have on pipeline operations? If so, this role is for you!! Enbridge is looking for a Sr Advisor for PCSLD Critical Application Integration and Support who will be a direct technical lead and SME on the integration, support and maintenance of the critical OT infrastructure managed by PCSLD for the control and operation of Liquids Pipeline System.

Here’s what you will do:


  • Be the key lead technical resource when triaging infrastructure operational upsets in the PCSLD environment that impacts Liquid Pipelines operations.

  • Be the SME for application administration, maintenance, system health monitoring of the critical infrastructure used by Leak Detection, SCADA, SaSS and ICS teams within PCSLD

  • Lead, schedule, facilitate, oversee, and assess OS level patching of infrastructure within the ICS network while determining criticality of cybersecurity threats and impacts a patch may have to the environment and make recommendations to management in implementation.

  • Lead and manage the integration of any new infrastructure required for capital funded projects while requiring assistance from direct junior staff if needed.

  • Represent CAIS as the technical SME into any new architecture of the environment and recommend changes or updates to standards after assessing impacts to operational reliability.

  • Be the foremost expert in the understanding of dependent TIS systems and how they impact critical PCSLD infrastructure, including firewall rules, network architecture, physical and virtual servers, backup, cybersecurity tools, active directory, group policy and remote management tools.

  • Be the senior technical leader mentoring not only junior staff in the CAIS team but also supporting multiple areas within PCSLD.

Who you are :

  • You have:

  • 6+ years of experience supporting technology infrastructure in an OT environment

  • 6+ years of experience in application/infrastructure capital project implementation

  • A related university degree OR a two-year technical diploma

  • For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required

  • For candidates who do not possess a technical diploma, an additional 2-years of related experience is required

  • Experience with Architectural System Review.

  • A strong focus on collaboration as they lead to execute on multiple initiatives while educating other team members on those skill sets

  • You can:

  • Make technical decisions when restoring service to critical systems for the LP system.

  • Effectively prioritize tasks and communicate changes to schedules when required, where you will interface collaboratively with PMs and various stakeholders in the completion of those tasks

  • The following are considered assets:

  • Previous experience with the administration of middleware message queuing systems (RMQ).

  • Strong scripting experience in PowerShell, batch, python, VisualStudio, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.

  • Understanding of liquid pipelines operations including leak detection systems, SCADA, custom software applications and field control systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily in an office environment

  • Some work in the data centers where physical infrastructure is maintained.
