This is a 12-month temporary position.

Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy data management? If so, we are currently looking for a Process Safety Information (PSI) Analyst to support the development and implementation of Engineering Information Management (EIM) functions. You will be responsible for assessing implementation levels across Liquids Pipelines and developing recommendations as well as collaborating closely with field staff to ensure successful implementation of the programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Capture data, perform advanced analytics using computer programming language such as SQL, draw conclusions and make recommendations to senior staff.

  • Responsible for maintaining published standards to reflect internal processes.

  • Work with partners to understand issues and formulate solutions to address.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure progress is maintained on advancing deliverables in a timely fashion.

  • Analyze data to build meaningful metrics for reporting to senior leadership.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree or technical diploma or related field with minimum two of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.

  • Computer programming considered an asset

  • Demonstrated proficiency working with office computer applications such as Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Excel).

  • Ability to work dynamically and effectively handle competing priorities and targets.

  • Experienced working with MAXIMO, Sharepoint and Power BI.

  • Demonstrated ability to speak and write in clear, concise, and organized manner using correct grammar, including presentations.

Working conditions:

  • Work performed both in field and office

  • Travel approximately less than 25% of the time within Canada and United States

  • Exposed to stressful situations where smart decisions must be made without supervision.
