The TIS Business Analyst serves as a direct liaison to clients and business relationship managers in order to translate and prioritize requirements for project and maintenance work on applications supported in the Application Operations Services (AOS) Liquid Pipelines space. #joinourteam

What will you do:

  • TIS Business Analyst engages with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes to products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.

  • Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.

  • Incumbent must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically feasible, financially, and functionally reasonable.

  • Assists the business in determining which business requirements can be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes.

  • Solutioning business problems, utilizing existing business capabilities.

  • Participate in requirements prioritization.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and success criteria.

  • Perform project management tasks as needed.

  • Determine, assign, track and manage project tasks, documentation, issues, change requests, status, etc.

  • Partner with development team to provide reporting and status on project deliverables.

  • Coordinate and participate in testing activities.

Who Are You:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

  • 4-7 years of systems analysis, Business Analysis or other IT related experience

  • Complete understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • Ability to translate technical information into terms understandable by non-IT savvy personnel.

  • Adept at interacting in both business and IT focused discussions

  • Experience working with onshore and offshore teams.
