As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in supporting the integration of ERP systems by liaising between business units and the technical team to ensure that system designs meet operational needs.

What you will do:

  • Assist in migrating utilities from their current work management systems to the new ERP environment.

  • Work closely with the utilities and business applications teams to generate Business requirements.

  • Participate in workshops to design new business processes that leverage ERP capabilities.

  • Develop systems processes that align with business goals and ensure data integrity across platforms.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop functional designs that meet business requirements.

  • Assist with the development and design of system reporting.

  • Assist with the development of test plans and writing of detailed test cases for both system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Coordinate and assist with the execution of test cases, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.

  • Support the creation of comprehensive training materials that reflect new ERP functionalities and processes.

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops for end-users to facilitate effective system adoption.

  • Provide ongoing support during the cut-over and go-live phases to address any issues and ensure a smooth transition.

  • Provide post-go-live support to resolve operational challenges and optimize system performance.

  • Regularly communicate with project stakeholders to update them on project progress and potential challenges.

Who you are:

  • Related university degree and related experience in business or systems analysis OR 4‐plus years of previous field/operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment on complex technical issues.

  • Proven interpersonal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically around Maximo and work management is nice to have.

  • CBAP Certification or other formally recognized education in the field of business analysis is considered an asset.

  • Demonstrated keen awareness of and aptitude for developing interpersonal relationships and building stakeholder engagement is an asset.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
