We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, Hotline Specialist to join our team! Nature of Work:
This position serves as the link between client work orders, KS field crews, and Diggers Hotline. The position is responsible for reporting job information to ensure underground facilities are marked and job paperwork is provided to the field prior to work starting. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.
Access client system and maps to obtain work order details and required completion dates.
Create tickets based on work order information in Diggers Hotline ProPortal (web-based system) to have facilities located
Print, collate, and distribute work packets assigned to KS from client
Document work schedule in client’s system
Update job tracking spreadsheets daily
Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 3 years of office clerical experience, preferably in an office that supports field operations.
Above average computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn and adapt to various unique user interfaces.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong communication skills including ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
Ability to read, navigate, and plan using complicated maps.
Ability to organize and plan your work and meet deadlines.
Familiarity and understanding of underground utility facilities, Wisconsin state law, and role of Diggers Hotline preferred.
Familiar with maps and providing directions using North, South, East & West.
Previous work experience in an office that supports field work.
