Mechanics perform maintenance and repair on construction vehicles and large equipment and machines.

Our opportunities span across three office locations: Brea, Chino, and Eastvale.


  • Maintenance and repair of small engines, both gas and diesel

  • Preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment

  • Provide after-hours support for critical timelines when needed

  • Diagnosis and correction of electrical problems

  • Use of pneumatic tools for construction equipment

  • Operate and inspect machines as needed

  • Assist with dismantling and reassembly of equipment

  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • General knowledge of construction related equipment

  • Strong verbal and written communication; detailed-orientated

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and overtime

  • Ability to lift 80 lbs., good hand to eye coordination and ability to work in a variety of seasons, both indoors and outdoors

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Existing CDL or ability/willingness to obtain class A CDL

  • Welding skills preferred

  • Ability to read electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and use electrical testing equipment

  • Computer skills preferred

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Environment

  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions

  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English

  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 80lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling

  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice

  • Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment

  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner


  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens

  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify

  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card

  • Join and maintain Union membership
