Job Summary
Ensures contractor compliance with quality standards defined within contractor contracts. Leads scheduled meetings with contractors to review performance scorecards. Acts as interface between contractors, procurement, project & construction management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor & administer the provisions of assigned contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Manages Contractor Scorecards and reports on established Key Performance Indicators to contractors and internal stakeholders. Implements corrective actions and continuous improvement plans when contractors are off track for performance metrics.
Develops professional and productive relationships with contractors. Develops & maintains open communication channels with contractor leadership.
Lead and facilitate periodic performance review meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
Supports Procurement & Project Management during bid and annual blanket contract process .
Manages contract issues and takes appropriate action to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Perform other duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle.
Exceptional Communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Presentation).
Excellent Customer Service Skills
General understanding of utility industry practices.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks to effectively achieve results.
Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Related Field preferred.
5+ years of experience in contracting or contract management. Construction or utility experience preferred.
Valid Drivers License.
