Sturgeon Electric’s Commercial and Industrial (C&I) electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance to clients. Sturgeon Electric has experience performing projects under Integrated Lean Project Delivery methods, and also offers pre-construction services, in-house pre-fabrication capabilities, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities.
Operating a vacuum truck on site
Perform pre and post-trip inspections by following company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are in a clean state and operating properly
Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
Other duties as required
Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
Class A CDL Driver license with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record. Crane certification is preferred but not required upon hire.
Experience potholing utilities and vacuum excavation is required
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety-focused environment
Energetic, confident self-starters, with a strong work ethic
Physical ability to perform work
Union Pay & Benefits:
This will be a union position. Salary is $27.46 to $33.23 as set forth in the collective bargaining agreement
Healthcare for employees and immediate families will be paid by Sturgeon Electric
An additional 15% of the wage scale is paid directly into your retirement account
Five year vesting period on company-sponsored retirement account
Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include a background check and drug testing.
