Job Specifications

Responsible for the preparation, execution, detailed analyses and ongoing administration of company transportation service agreements. Handles all contract information accurately in company systems; manage contract lifecycles to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; and resolve contractual questions. Analyzes and prepares annual capacity reviews, allocations and releases of capacity, as needed, and updates corresponding system data.

SALARY RANGE: $60,350 - $90,600 (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Gas Supply & Transportation Services

LOCATION: Denver, Colorado

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead all aspects of the Transportation Services Contract Approval and Processing System (CAPS) contract routing, approvals, and management.

  • Prepare and process contract documents for signature.

  • Partner with the Business Development group to contract new transportation customers and facilitate agency changes.

  • Maintain complete records retention compliance and ongoing contract lifecycle management and compliance (i.e., active obligations, records archiving, retention code management, physical and electronic records destruction).

  • Handle documents in FileNet to allow for efficient and accurate electronic access to documents.

  • Lead contract versioning and form management.

  • Handle annual capacity review and updates for Shipper capacity rights, update corresponding contract documents and system rights, and communicates changes accordingly.

  • Accurately and timely set up contract structure, rates, capacity rights, etc. on the company’s Electronic Bulletin Board, Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management (QPTM).

  • Provide contact and transactional data to the Finance and Regulatory group to satisfy various regulatory reporting requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and extract pertinent contract information, data, documents, or material need to support management requirements and objectives.

  • Track and maintain Market Center Services positions and deal precision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Minimum of three years working with contracts or with data/analytics is required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of contract language, with legal writing experience.

  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro, along with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Understanding of both regulated and non-regulated commodity markets.

  • Strong understanding of transportation contracts, commercial development, and tariffs and regulations.

  • Skilled at working with a Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management (QPTM) system.

  • Solid understanding of state regulatory and pipeline tariffs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work with a team, in an open office environment.

  • Ability to work within a contract management system.

Work environment: Routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. No travel is required for this role.
