Position Summary

Sustainment Framework Position. Drives strategic integration and alignment of processes, data, and systems across a business unit. Serves as subject matter expert to develop integrated business solutions for process and system deployments and upgrades, ensuring all changes are aligned with business area operating models. Balances the needs and requirements of multiple stakeholders in facilitating demand management and prioritization. Regularly measures process effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence metrics, and manages remedial action planning process in collaboration with business area and enterprise integration teams, as well as business area leaders. Teaches and mentors other business integration consultants. This position can be located in TX-Amarillo, CO-Denver, MN-Minnesota.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Integration: Primary business unit owner for processes, data, reports, and/or applications within a designated scope area of high complexity. Acts as a key liaison between integration consulting teams at the business and enterprise levels.

  • Role & Process Design and Governance: Enforces established change controls for enterprise process design documentation, role assignments, performance measures, reports, and training materials. Maintains and applies current knowledge of functional, technical and industry trends. Accountable for compliance with SOX and audit requirements.

  • Value Realization: Regularly tracks measures of process effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence across departments within a given business area. Assembles and leads teams to investigate root cause of performance gaps. Designs, consolidates and implements action plans. Tracks and drives business-area accountability for realization of benefits associated with all initiatives within scope.

  • Demand Management & Prioritization: Facilitates and directs the demand management and prioritization process for continuous improvement opportunities associated with business processes, reporting, and systems across a business unit.

  • Project Management: Serves as solution designer and program manager for multiple continuous improvement initiatives, enhancements, or special projects. Translates business needs into requirements.

  • Training and Effective Communication: Provides ongoing training and support for area business integration consultants, super users and business area; leads training/support for new implementations. Drives effective communication of changes and supports change adoption.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, CPA/MBA or other related certification preferred

  • At least 7 years related business area/industry experience (Gas/Electric utility preferred) –or– SAP/equivalent ERP use and implementation experience

  • Deep knowledge of leading practice technology solutions for business area

  • Ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences and analyze complex business scenarios

  • Leadership, change management and program/project management experience

  • Understand and effectively translate technological and business language

  • Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and coordinate with others in deployment efforts

  • Experience in configuring, administering, upgrading, and supporting systems and integrating new technological and process solutions into existing systems

  • Proven success gaining cross-functional consensus on large strategic and portfolio management initiatives

Preferred

  • Direct experience in developing functional specs for SAP configuration, training experience
