Gas Emergency Response Intern - Three (3) positions

Project Description:

Gas Emergency Response is a department that oversees all gas emergency orders to reduce emergency response time while not compromising safety. This position will be responsible for the review, analysis and approval of a select group of gas emergency orders. This role will ensure that a select group of orders will follow the business rules established for the proper completion and documentation. In addition, this role will assist the department in analyzing statistics monitoring process adherence and daily reporting processes.

This will be a summer opportunity with the potential to extend into a school semester. The candidate should be able to work full-time during the summer and 15-20 hrs./wk. during a school semester.

Anticipated Start Date - May 2025 or sooner if possible.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Sophomore status or above by end of spring '25 semester is required.

  • Applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and good organizational skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency and aptitude are required.

  • Should have an interest in data analysis.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $16.20 to $30.10 per hour

This position is eligible for the following benefits: Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO), Holidays
