Position Summary

Continuous Improvement Position. Enterprise level accountability across multiple process value streams at an Enterprise Program level. Drives strategic integration and alignment of processes, data, and systems that impact multiple business and/or functional areas. Responsible for defining solution strategy and design principles, and ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical solutions. Provides functional and technical support for all future SAP deployments and other continuous improvement projects. Balances the needs/requirements of multiple organizational entities in facilitating demand management and prioritization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement: Enterprise owners across various enterprise process streams responsible for identifying and driving process improvements. Acts as a key liaison between the Business Unit Leadership, Business Systems, and the Innovation and Transformation Office. Responsible for the identification, requirements development, testing support, and end user adoption of technology changes across multiple Process stream. Participates in enterprise capability and process management activities; enforces established change controls.

  • KPI Development & Tracking: Enterprise level metrics accountability across multiple process streams at the Program level.

  • Opportunity Identification & Business Case Development: Responsible for the identification of improvement opportunities with their Enterprise Process value stream; quantifying the impact (value) across the enterprise value stream. Supports the Enterprise prioritization and governance process and leads the Enterprise business case development and prioritization. Responsible for the development of quality requirements meeting end user needs. Leads enterprise improvement efforts.

  • Project Management: Improvement leads for Enterprise initiatives and targeted Kaisen events. Track and manage targeted improvements and supports end user adoption with peers.

  • Coach & Mentor: Coach BU leadership thru change and mentor of Business Integration Consultants and BU Continuous improvement Champions on improvement activities, expectations, and opportunities.

  • Change Management: Provides support and insights for the development of end user training and communications. Provide strategic consultation for process improvement initiatives and develops, implements, and manages a workflow design across the entire business unit. Lead role in providing expert consultation and analysis on issues regarding utilization of the software applications and processes. Works to identify improvement opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • MBA, Industrial Engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, or other related certification preferred.

  • At least 5 years related business area/industry experience –or– SAP/equivalent ERP/ core enterprise systems use and implementation experience.

  • Internal/External consulting experience leading improvement and transformation initiatives.

  • Deep knowledge of leading business process solutions through technology enablement for business area.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to a variety of audiences and analyze complex business scenarios.

  • Leadership, change management and program/project management experience.

  • Understand and effectively translate technological and business language.

Preferred

  • Gas and/or Electric Utility Industry experience, direct experience in developing functional specs for SAP configuration.

  • Business process management skillset including Six Sigma/Lean Toolsets, and data management skillsets.
