The Dell Power Plant is seeking applicants for our Instrument, Control, and Electrical Technician! This position has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems.

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must also have the following experience:

  • Knowledge of Digital Control Systems (Emerson Ovation, General Electric Mark, etc)

  • Experience with different instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level) and the ability to troubleshoot, calibrate, repair or replace.

  • Experience with Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (Rotor expansion, vibration, etc)

  • Experience maintaining low and medium voltage electrical systems.

  • Experience maintaining combined cycle power plant electrical systems preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals and P&ID's.

  • Strong computer skills, including the use of word processing programs, spreadsheets, and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
