American Transmission Company System Protection Specialist in De Pere, Wisconsin

Summary of Responsibilities:

We are looking for a System Protection Specialist to provide expert technical support, direction and advice in analyzing, evaluating, and managing data for our System Protection department.

Essential Responsibilities:

You’ll use your Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, computer aided design/drafting, or Construction Technology to participate in the development of transmission line and substation protection specifications, retrieve event records from remote relays and disturbance recorders for fault analysis and manage and maintain the department’s databases of relay settings and event records. In lieu of degree, equivalent, applicable work experience may be considered.

In addition, you’ll participate in root cause analysis and process improvement teams, manage system protection documentation on internal and external ATC websites and prepare substation and transmission line design guides, standards, drawings and specifications, so experience with multiple software programs and managing data is a must.
