American Transmission Company Intern - Substation Services Summer 2025 in De Pere, Wisconsin
Summary of Responsibilities:
Start your career at a Great Place to Work! We’re looking for a Substation Engineering intern to support our Asset Technologies and Services group within Asset Management.
Essential Responsibilities:
You’ll work side by side with our substation or transmission line services engineers both in the office and out in the field as required. You’ll have opportunities to be involved with engineering work that keeps the electric grid functioning, and see some of the transmission equipment in the field and how it works. In addition, you will gain exposure to other functional areas within the company to understand the many needs of a utility to keep the lights on. Some examples of items that have been worked on in the past include ground grid analysis, transformer monitoring support, standards updates and even a round of golf!
If you are an Electrical Engineering bachelor’s student and have an interest in the utility industry, we want you to bring your positive energy to ATC!
