Under general or limited supervision position the Team Leader, Billing and Revenue Support is responsible and accountable for:
Managing 3rd party service providers
Processing and posting customer payments
Adhering to regulatory guidelines
Executing revenue controls
Administering low-income assistance programs and payments.
Provides leadership, coaching, counseling, advising, and teaching to direct reports and others through day-to-day contact.
Directs, monitors, and evaluates performance of direct reports within the reporting organization
Internal and External Audits
Skills & Qualifications:
Associates Degree (or equivalent) 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite.
Experience with billing, payment processing, and collections practices, technologies, and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Ability to solve complex problems and use sound business judgment.
Strong communicator both oral and written with solid inter-personal, training and computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as operate at times with a minimum of supervision.
Experience with inbound Call Center and related technologies.
Experience in a regulated utility or other regulated work environment.
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs
Supervisoryexperience in a union environment
