Job Summary:
The Cyber Engineer, following engineering design principles, is responsible for designing, programing, monitoring, and testing secure power system environments. From the settings on devices to communication topologies and protocols, the Cyber Engineer shall be capable of identifying security risks and responsible for making recommendations and design decisions to help mitigate that risk.
As an interdisciplinary member of the team who sits between electrical engineering and computer science, the Cyber Engineer shall be able to apply their knowledge of computing hardware and software to address technical challenges and create innovative solutions to solve industry challenges.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - Commensurate, depending on relevant experience, education, and qualifications.

Who You Are:
Degree in Cyber Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Passionate about learning and solving challenges
Fundamentals of Engineering EIT Certification a plus
Must have solid knowledge and understanding of Python and Computer Networking and working knowledge of at least three of the following: MS Visio, firewalls, network switches, Linux shell, cloud, cybersecurity principles, programmable logic controllers, ladder logic, software defined networking, databases, file transfer protocols, control system protocols, virtual machines, Docker
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interface with different internal departments and teams
Interface with customers
Creating and reviewing engineering design documentation including drawings, diagrams, and reports
Program, configure, and test communications, cybersecurity, control, and automation equipment
Assist with operational and security monitoring of assets
Creating software scripts to solve challenges
