Essential Responsibilities:

We're looking for an Operations Engineer to provide a variety of technical engineering support services to ensure reliable electric transmission system operations. You’ll use your bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree with experience in transmission system operations to analyze transmission system problems using steady-state, dynamic and electromagnetic tools, perform event analysis, and collaborate on the development of operating plans for our System Operators. You’ll also collaborate with regional and national entities to assist in the development of transmission reliability processes, procedures and best practices and perform transmission outage coordination studies jointly with other transmission owners and regional entities.

ATC embraces flexibility in our work and our workplace. You are able to choose to work at home, or our offices in Cottage Grove or Pewaukee, Wis., depending on your schedule for the day and the needs of the business.
