Summary of Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a System Protection intern to support our System Protection Engineers who are responsible for the development and implementation of system protection and control schemes to ensure reliable and secure operation of the ATC Electric Transmission System.
You’ll review and validate data used in the development of protective relay settings and the operation of the transmission system and use computer aided protection engineering software to calculate short circuit currents, model transmission elements and perform other studies. In addition, you’ll research specific application questions, then assemble and present findings.
