Job Description Summary
Do you have an eye for detail and knowledge of computer aided design programs? If so, ATC is looking for an Electrical Designer to work on project teams to design substations.
Essential Responsibilities:
ATC employees enjoy flexible schedules, and you’ll use your associate’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology to apply ATC design standards to build and modify electrical substations. With other design team members, you’ll perform site walk downs, consult internal and external stakeholders, and communicate with other project team members to ensure our design meets the need of internal and external customers.
You’ll use your experience in computer aided design (MicroStation or AutoCAD) in partnership with the design engineers to develop complex drawing packages, including plan views, section cuts, structure and assembly details, schematics, and wiring diagrams. We can take your experience in industrial controls, electrical design, or development of control schematics and wiring and teach you to apply those skills in the growing and fast changing power industry.
