ConEdison Solutions Installer 1, 2, 3 in Connecticut

We are continually looking for Installers to assist in the installation of residential and commercial PV systems. In this position, the Installer (1,2,3), under the supervision of the Crew Lead, will work daily on jobsites to complete solar installations. It is the responsibility of every Installer to ensure safe work practices for the installation team.
Work as a part of the installation team to complete assigned tasks
Jobsite preparation, setting up ladders, safety equipment, and loading/unloading equipment
Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
Assist in completing all close out documentation required
Maintain an orderly and clean job site at all times
Minimum 1 year of roof work, general construction, or carpentry strongly preferred
Familiarity with basic hand tools
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Ability to work in extreme environments (example hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or GED required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Strong customer service skills required
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (for example, no DUI in last 5 years)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
