The Talent Acquisition and Mobility department is a dynamic group within the Human Resources organization that focuses on strategically aligning itself with the lines of business to recruit, acquire, motivate, develop, and retain top talent. Position Summary

We are looking for a Recruiter with proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks with little supervision. The successful candidate can hit the ground running, is able to perform full lifecycle recruiting and will maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and team members to efficiently drive the process and produce results. This candidate must also adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service and manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting at PG&E

  • Serves as single point of contact to leaders within the Lines of Business for all recruiting matters

  • Creates and implements strategic sourcing and recruiting strategies to meet client needs

  • Initiate, develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility

  • Conduct complete and detailed intake sessions, ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements

  • Identify opportunities to positively impact diversity hiring efforts

  • Build an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate

  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position

  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring leader interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required

  • Work cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities

  • Visit hiring leader departments and field sites to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and to foster relationships

  • Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form and in a timely manner

  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma

  • Job-related experience, 3 years

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of union recruiting processes

  • Full knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting

  • Full knowledge of Federal regulations affecting hiring practices (OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action)

  • Diversity and inclusion understanding

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers

  • Ability to execute sourcing strategy plans and programs

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume recruitment processes

  • Effective communication skills

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
