Talent Specialist

The role of Talent Specialist is responsible for the execution of the recruitment strategy and follow-through of attracting a diverse pool of top talent to build a best-in-class and highly motivated workforce. They are responsible for overarching recruiting for InfraSource including job postings, attending community job fairs and events, establishing, and supporting internal and external business relationships, screening, interviewing and assessing candidates, and interacting with diverse individuals and organizations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each role and how it fits into the organization.

  • Identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent through various channels (job boards, social media, networking events)

  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies across the organization and for specific targeted departments or positions

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial sourcing to final candidate selection including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates for technical and cultural fit

  • Seek out and attend community events including job fairs, college/university career/hiring events, cultural/heritage activities and other opportunities to promote the InfraSource brand

  • Identify, build, and sustain technology to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities

  • Develop and implement innovative DEI sourcing and assessment processes to broaden the candidate pipeline, engaging a diverse mix of top talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience

  • Participate in exit interview evaluation to identify positive/negative trends and assist in developing improvement plans/processes to reduce turnover and increase retention.

  • Stay current on market trends and proactively identify current and future talent needs

  • Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to track and report on key performance indicators and provide regular updates to stakeholders

    You should possess the following experience, skills, and qualifications :

  • 2-4 years in talent recruitment

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
