NiSource Lead Financial Analyst in Columbus, Ohio
Our department is a dynamic, fast paced environment with responsibility to provide all aspects of Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) support for NiSource and their subsidiaries. FPA supports NiSource through variance analysis, reporting, and business decision support by partnering with the business to execute and achieve financial and operational targets. FPA enables execution of strategic direction through the setting of intelligent financial targets that account for shareholder and customer value. FPA supports effective process and data governance through transparency and accountability of the data the business relies on for decision making. FPA also supports regulatory filings with forecasted information.
Provides value-added financial services to both internal and external customers. The incumbent may assume responsibility for financial activities, including but not limited to reviewing and interpreting the impact of financial reporting proposals promulgated by governing bodies; preparing analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data; developing comprehensive financial data reports for both internal and external customers; and providing other needed expertise and reporting to accurately reflect and manage financial matters.

Requires 4 year degree in business discipline
Requires knowledge of PC applications
7 years or more experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or a related field
Requires multiple functional experience
