NiSource IT Analyst Job Family - Lead IT Analyst in Columbus, Ohio

Purpose: The IT Analyst Job Family, Service Governance, is responsible for the administration practices and procedures associated with the management of outsourced IT service provider contracts. This position reviews service provider proposals, identifies disparities and resolves basic issues with the service provider. The position also monitors outsourced IT service provider performance and compliance against contracts, identifies variances, and recommends corrective actions. This position may perform audits to ensure contract compliance and performance, and also collaborates with Corporate Finance to perform the analysis and reporting of the financial aspects of these services including value, trending, benchmarking and cost allocations across the business segments. The IT Analyst, Service Governance will facilitate input from legal resources to provide enterprise level direction on IT outsourced service provider contract relationships, scope, definition, implementation and compliance. This position is responsible for administration and assigned tasks related to:

Currency of IT service provider contracts, including amendments, changes, updates, contract documentation, and archival of contracts

Interpretation of IT service provider contracts for company executives and management

Audit notifications to IT service providers as related to the delivery of services

Issue management processes related to service provider contract compliance and quality

Order processing for any project requests and any contract change for new services related to outsourced service provider contracts

Contract compliance reviews for deliverables and obligations related to outsourced service provider agreements

Key IT supplier segmentation efforts based on company criticality model of strategic, leverage, collaboration and transactional suppliers

Administration of the outsource service provider governance model based on governance disciplines of relationship, performance, contract and financials

Facilitation of cross technology tower risk/issue reviews and disputes

Key outcomes for success include:

Timely and accurate IT service provider contract amendments, changes, updates and associated documentation and archival

Timely and accurate interpretation and response regarding IT service provider contract and compliance matters

Timely and accurate audit notifications to IT service providers

Timely and accurate issue resolution process for IT service provider contract related issues

Timely and accurate IT service provider orders for new projects

Timely and accurate contract changes for new IT services

Timely and accurate compliance reviews related to deliverables and obligations pertaining to IT service provider contracts

Timely and accurate key IT supplier segmentation efforts based on strategic, leverage, collaboration and transactional type suppliers

Successful delivery of IT Services per agreed to SLAs/OLAs and/or dispute resolution
