What Do You Offer Us?

  • Champion and own safety by modeling behaviors, maintaining a drug free work environment and performing corrective action when appropriate

  • Serve as visible single point of contact for operations to recommend and coordinate equipment related issues

  • Implement yearly equipment strategy and budget based on business needs, replacement issues, retirement criteria and expansion plans

  • In concert with operations decide if rentals are necessary and negotiate and monitor contract

  • In concert with operations implement, monitor, and revise preventive maintenance programs in accordance with procedures and policies insuring compliance

  • In concert with operations ensure compliance with pre-trip inspections, DOT compliance and other related auditing and compliance programs

  • Monitor WEX program and appropriate usage

  • Provide training on an on-going basis on fleet maintenance and provide operations with report showing compliance

  • Provide operations with weekly feedback via report mechanism on equipment in need of movement and how to maximize utilization

  • Ability to travel throughout region with little notice

  • Other duties as assigned

    What is Required?

  • 5+ years of construction related equipment management experience

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

  • Associates / Bachelor Degree Preferred

    This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
