Position Specific Description

This Shadow Coach role has the flexibility to be located within either Cape Canaveral Plant in Cocoa, FL or Dania Beach Plant in Dania Beach, FL. The power plant location will be determined based on the candidate(s) selected. This position is a developmental role for future growth opportunities within our Power Generation Division Operations Team. Upon determination and timing and under general direction, this individual shall be able to successfully supervise and drive the operations & maintenance team to achieve all production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site.

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for the assessment, management, and planning of activities to ensure all plant equipment is operational and available to support plant production requirements. This includes technical support for daily operations, plant and process improvements, equipment acquisition, plant breakdown and analysis, and recommending corrective actions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Trains production personnel

• Ensures that all production activities are completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

• Conducts activities in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and consistent with PGD policies, procedures, and practices

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
