Otter Tail Corporation Manufacturing Engineer in Clearwater, Minnesota
The individual best suited for this role will have previous experience successfully leading a variety of Kaizen activities as well as capital projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record for effective project management skills for delivering projects on time and within budget. Another crucial skill for this position would be having formal training and advanced knowledge of Lean methodologies and Operational Excellence. A thorough knowledge of CAD software packages using SolidWorks, ProEngineer or Autodesk Inventor. A 6 Sigma Green Belt would be a plus.

The Manufacturing Engineer position requires a balance of sitting/office work and walking/standing on the production floor and warehouse. The position requires a balance of hands on work and office work. The production environment at times can be hot, loud, and demanding. Safety glasses, hearing protection, and certain clothing restrictions are required on the production floor. The production floor and warehouses require mobility and are a fast-moving environment.
