Job Description

Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Logistics and Trade Compliance supports the Invenergy Logistics department on daily trade related issues and will ensure company compliance with US government trade regulations. The Senior Analyst, Logistics and Trade Compliance will report directly to the Senior Manager, Logistics and also supports other logistics department related activities including but not limited to tracking, maintenance of shipment logs, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Operate activities of compliance programs including but not limited to the following: Importer Self-Assessment (ISF), Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorist (C-TPAT), Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

  • Maintenance of C-TPAT Program – annual reviews, reviewing new vendors, distributing/follow up on security questionnaires, updating necessary training materials based on requirements

  • Coordinate and work directly with Customs Brokers for customs filings

  • Review import invoices and other documents

  • Communicate customs filing instructions to Customs Brokers

  • Audit Customs Entries, and audit Custom Broker billing invoices

  • Maintain HTS Database of products, Duty/Tax Related Payments via ACH, and other Trade Compliance related reports

  • Creating documentation and booking for exports when necessary

  • Support Logistics Team with tracking, deliveries, inventory management, and any other areas that need support

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline

  • 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, supply chain management, and/or logistics management

  • Sufficient knowledge and experience in CTPAT program, duty/tax, and other trade compliance related programs

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time

  • Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated interest in renewable energy

  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with multiple interests and backgrounds
