Position Purpose:

Accountable for planning, managing, and directing all Document Control, Records Management, Administrative Services activities at the nuclear site to ensure all records and documents are processed in accordance with applicable regulations, codes, standards, and user requirements and provides essential support service as needed for the site.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage activities of the Management Services organization to ensure compliance of regulatory and corporate requirements are met and maintained.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of systems to identify, cross reference, and classify all site document/records and to provide timely analysis for determining key data elements, retention periods, and election of information system best suited for each record type.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of systems to ensure all site generated records are complete, identifiable, legible, authenticated, and retrievable.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of a system to capture records and index key data into multiple automated data processing systems to ensure appropriate protection of in-process and complete QA records both on and off site.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of systems to ensure that procedures, instructions, drawings, and engineering records are effectively and efficiently distributed to specific site locations within specified time requirements.

  • Manage the configuration management systems to effectively and efficiently provide surveillance and work instructions, drawings, and design change paper. Documents are used directly to perform work in safety-related activities and must be accurate and readily available.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of record systems and facilities to ensure accurate and timely retrievals of documentation/records from multiple systems such as EDMS, RIMS, DDS, DCMS to support documentation requirements for the plant.

  • Manage the activities of the Administrative Services Unit to ensure essential support services (i.e., reprographics, convenience copier service, office supplies/equipment, food vendor operations, mail services, and the site vehicle pool) are provided in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Development, monitoring, and reporting of site performance indicators and targets.

  • Responsible for succession planning and workforce planning.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education. – B.S. in an engineering, technical, or business discipline or equivalent-related experience.

    Experience. - Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in records and document management programs or activities, with three (3) years in the nuclear industry.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities— Demonstrated Leadership and excellent organizational skills. Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions.
