We are currently looking for a Specialist Supply Chain Management (SCM) Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) within the Supply Chain organization to support the development and execution of operational and strategic processes for supplier diversity to minimize risk and achieve lower total cost of ownership and higher value for Enbridge. What you will do:

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze and handle environmental, social and governance (ESG) data/reports for dissemination within the company and external stakeholders.

  • Establishing and sustaining mutually beneficial relationships with diverse suppliers. Working closely with business units and departments to ensure coordinated and consistent engagement with suppliers, driving positive environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance outcomes.

  • Delivering the successful day-to-day delivery of Supply Chain Management’s sustainability, supplier diversity, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) services.

  • Completing action plans, timelines, and resource assignments for supplier diversity, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and corporate sustainability objectives to assure timely completion and guarantee the business needs are met.

  • Driving successful solutions and outcomes using effective internal and benchmark data, metrics, and reporting.

  • Systematically identifying and analyzing risks. Using good judgment to assess the significance of each risk. Documenting options to deal with the most significant risks.

  • Managing own professional development effectively. Providing positive and regular support and encouragement to motivate others.

  • Effectively creating and communicating clear plans for change and advocating implementation as a primary change agent in fulfillment of business needs. Facilitating change acceptance in day-to-day work processes, following leading practices and engaging with teams and peers to ensure a cohesive approach to change.

  • Other duties (in addition to or in lieu of those described above), as assigned by people leader according to the needs of the Supply Chain Management Performance Analytics & Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team or the enterprise.

Who you are:

  • Related university degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field with a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible project, commercial, technical business or equivalent SCM experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite including MS Power Point).

  • Demonstrates integrity, ethical behavior, trust, safety, and stewardship while driving to bottom line goals and profitability.

  • Leverages advanced analytical skills, business intelligence and leading practice supply chain and industry concepts to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Demonstrating an ability to be innovative, take initiative, lead, and manage change.

Working Condition:

  • Typical office environment with moderate travel within Canada and United States to Enbridge field locations, warehouses, supplier facilities etc. which may require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
