Note: this position maybe virtually based within a broad US geographic area (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

This position in in eTransEnergy, LLC; a Duke Energy Company. This is the fourth level of a 4 classification hierarchy. Employees at this level independently negotiate and execute the most complex fleet electrification business transactions across multiple geographies with latitude for unreviewed work. Employees function in advisory roles providing assistance and recommending solutions to others, and leading major complex projects. They are also expected to have advanced Business Development skills and have the ability to work independently utilizing their expertise and sales and the listed markets below. They identify market opportunities with or without our Alliance Partners. They develop creative, profitable, effective solutions in the complex fleet electrification space. They are exceptional negotiators, and take proactive actions to resolve customer and or contract issues.

Candidate preference will be given for business development experience in the Transit, School Bus, Work Truck, and Delivery Truck (last mile logistics) markets. In addition, preference for fleet management experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Fleet Electrification transaction execution and resolution of business needs.

  • Ensures business goals and objectives are accomplished through effective negotiations, communication, and work monitoring.

  • Prepares thorough and accurate fleet Electrification documentation related to any business development initiative.

  • Develops positive working relationships using effective oral and written communication skills while representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

  • Strives to continually improve fleet electrification business development processes, procedures and performance.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering and 12 plus years work related experience OR

HS/GED and 17 plus years or work related experience in lieu of a degree and 12 plus years work related experience.

Compensation Package

Estimation of Annual Base Pay Range: $122,500 - $153,100

Grade: DEN-P

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
