We are currently hiring for an Aggregates Superintendent in Southern Oregon.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure all operations are in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including air and water quality, permit conditions, dumpsite policies and MSHA, OSHA
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
Work day-to-day with frontline and crew leaders providing overall guidance and direction while promoting the individual development of all team members
Ensure that quality of all materials exceeds customer expectations
Coordinate with internal customers and external sales person to determine production schedules
Work area will be at multiple locations throughout South-Central Oregon and will involve travel and some overnight stays
Will coordinate and plan permit requirements, mine planning, aggregate production scheduling, work daily with Aggregate Division GM
Safety first attitude required
Previous supervisory experience required
Working knowledge of crushing, washing aggregates
Working knowledge of mine planning, stripping and extraction
Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Requires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication and observation
A valid driver license in good standing
Ability to pass a criminal background, drug screen and functional testing
