Job Summary:

As a Senior People & Culture Manager, you will lead a P&C team in developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives at one of Southwire’s level-one sites that align with Southwire's organizational goals and values. This role requires a strategic approach to HR planning, policy development, talent management, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. You will partner with senior leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive performance, growth, and compliance across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.

  • Lead the P&C team in P&C policy development, implementation, and adherence, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Oversee all aspects of P&C at the plant level, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, team member relations, and benefits administration.

  • Drive efforts to create an inclusive, engaging workplace culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

  • Manage HRIS and other HR-related systems to ensure efficient processes, data accuracy, and effective reporting.

  • Coach and counsel managers and team members to facilitate conflict resolution, collaboration, and teamwork.

  • Identify skill gaps through skill gap analysis to develop and implement talent development programs and performance management processes, supporting career advancement and succession planning.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing risk and adhering to best employment practices by staying up to date with employment laws for federal, state, and local as well as company policies.

  • Lead change management initiatives, supporting the organization through growth and transformation.

  • Develop and monitor key P&C metrics to assess performance identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to make the necessary improvements.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum Education level: Bachelor's degree

  • Specialized degree: Human Resources, Business Administration preferred

  • Years of Experience: 10+ years

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that align with business goals.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop HR professionals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience in managing change and driving organizational development and effectiveness.

  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and strategy.

  • PHR preferred.

  • Ability to work non-traditional work hours.

  • Experience supporting human capital needs for 500+ team members.
