Job Description
Co-Op are cycled, full time opportunities for engineering students who are currently enrolled in a four-year college/university.
Rotations available:
- Summer 2024, Spring 2025, & Fall 2025
Summary
The Industrial Engineering Co-Op will provide engineering support for the Corporate Industrial Engineering team. They will interact with wire and cable manufacturing plants to drive continuous improvement.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and/or audit method standards for production activities
Perform time study observations to establish and/or validate production standards
Capital project requests, justifications & capital expenditure reporting
Sales & Production data reporting
Maintain accurate and current training documentation for SOPs and new employee onboarding
Work with a variety of systems including but not limited to SAP, CableBuilder, Advaris, and JIRA
Eligibility Requirements
Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of 3 rotations
Ability to work 40-hour work weeks during rotation
Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Minimum GPA 2.5
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong data analysis skills
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
