MISO Energy IT Application Support Analyst in Carmel, Indiana
Description
Starting Salary Range: $96,000 - $113,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
MISO is hiring an IT Application Support Analyst III . In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with Operations and key business stakeholders, supporting critical processes and delivering strategic projects. You’ll work on cross-functional efforts involving complex system upgrades and maintenance - ensuring applications, systems, and processes are designed, developed, and implemented to meet rigorous standards and evolving customer needs. You’ll also contribute to impactful initiatives, projects, and system enhancements that are essential to our mission.
As an IT Application Support Analyst III at MISO, you will:
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical business applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues promptly and effectively
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support deployments, updates, and system integrations
Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging tools to enable proactive issue detection and resolution
Support GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and AI/ML platform operations, including model and data pipeline monitoring
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 6-8 years of relevant work experience
Strong troubleshooting skills, identifying problems, gathering and analyzing data, establishing key facts, and developing effective solutions
Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure and AWS
Ability to work a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience, knowledge, and skills.
