Equitrans Midstream Intern, Cybersecurity in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania
We have an exciting opportunity available for a remote, Summer 2022 Intern in the Cybersecurity, IT Department.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Research and evaluate applications and services for use. Provide a matrix when possible, detailing features within each different application or service
Provide first level compliance monitoring and investigations
Assist with forensics analysis and fact gathering
Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for specific applications, services, networks and servers as required
Assist with applications/tools including but not limited to SIEM, IPS, Netflow, e-mail protection, and DLP tools
Perform compliance audits against accepted security controls
Record and track IT security incidents, including but not limited to malware detection, compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and other threats
Other duties as assigned

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Completion of at least sophomore year pursuing a STEM degree, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
A 3.0 GPA or above
U.S. Citizen or U.S. permanent resident
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of Cloud platforms, in particular AWS, Azure and/or Google.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $19/hr to $23/hr.
