Equitrans Midstream Business Analyst/II/Sr - Financial Planning & Analysis in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst/II/Sr – Financial Planning & Analysis in our Canonsburg, PA location*. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of financial and strategic analysis functions, including financial expense modeling and reporting; supporting the annual budget process, and preparing presentations to senior management.

*this position can work 100% remote

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting, budgeting and reporting of all corporate and operational expense

  • Interfacing with budget owners and providing ad hoc analyses

  • Monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal financial and variance reporting

  • Reviewing labor distribution changes quarterly and annually

  • Running expense allocations for all business segments

  • Headcount and salary forecasting, budgeting and reporting

  • Partnership expense reporting

  • Process and reporting improvements

  • Performing competitive benchmarking analyses, including research and internal data gathering

  • Preparing management quality presentations

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar discipline.

  • The business analyst position requires at least one year of experience that demonstrates quantitative skills and an ability to perform a variety of financial and strategic analysis. The business analyst II position requires at least three years of experience. The Sr Business Analyst position requires three to five years of experience .

  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly

  • Must possess sharp analytical skills, creative thinking, ability to see global scope of business operations, coupled with sound financial aptitude

  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis

  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop recommendations

  • Ability to independently prepare and make effective presentations to senior management is preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Effective communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Background with Oracle ERP Financial budgeting and forecasting is preferred

  • Knowledge of the natural gas/petroleum industry, with specific knowledge of the Midstream sector is preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $67,600 to $105,100 plus a total rewards package that includes:
