Key applications include Openlink Endur/Findur, Egistix Oil, Entero, and Kyriba. Role Overview: You will play a vital role in managing our Energy Trading and Risk Management applications.

What You Will Do:

  • System Understanding:

  • Develop a deep understanding of system functionality, especially related to interfaces with applications like Oracle Financials, Egistix, and ICE.

  • Application Support:

  • Collaborate with the Energy Trading and Risk Management system’s team to deliver high-quality products and services prioritized by Enbridge ETRM Management team.

  • Investigate and resolve reported system issues and bugs, proposing alternative solutions when needed.

  • Problem Resolution:

  • Independently resolve production problems or coordinate with vendors and experts.

  • Identify opportunities for technical and business improvements.

  • Process Enhancement:

  • Identify areas where existing policies or procedures need improvement and make recommendations.

  • Client Communication:

  • A contact point for business clients regarding ETRM and Finance systems availability, functionality, and processes.

  • Technology Assessment:

  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to align with our technical roadmap.

  • Analyze the impact of potential infrastructure changes (hardware and software) and evaluate new technology.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a post-secondary degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Management Information Systems (equivalencies accepted).

  • You have 1 to 4+ years of experience in application development and IT processes.

  • Your interpersonal, communication, documentation, and solutioning skills were proven.

  • You are initiative-taking and experienced at managing change.

  • Your experience can include IT project planning, process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, and systems implementation and operations.

  • You are proficient in two of the following programming languages/environments: Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, .NET, C/C#, or AVS/JVS.
