Engineer 1 - Expected salary range of $74,700 to $83,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Engineer 2A - Expected salary range of $93,600 to $104,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Engineer 2B - Expected salary range of $99,000 to $110,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of Power plant operations. Performs intermediate and routine engineering technical tasks requiring broad engineering/technical experience.
Works independently with broad supervisory review.
Must be able to collect data from the field and incorporate the information and data into applicable databases and documents.
Prepare engineering analysis under minimum supervision.
Has some latitude to make technical decisions within accountabilities. Department Specific
Roles/Responsibilities : Engineering Defend the plant design and licensing basis. Preparation and approval of design outputs and plant changes in accordance with approved processes and design requirements. Support installation and testing of plant systems and components and facility changes. Ensure the plant's physical and functional characteristics are accurately reflected in the plant documents. Perform engineering analysis to support plant changes. Identify, schedule and oversee code and regulatory inspections per technical program requirements. Support field execution of programmatic inspections. Prepare required analysis and program documents to support inspection scopes. Support engineering programs and functions. Support engineering department scheduling, equipment databases and corrective action program.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Engineer 1
Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of Power plant operations.
Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
Support engineering work functions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Engineer 2A
Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Engineer 2B
Perform item equivalency evaluations, for electrical and instrumentation & control, parts / components to approve installation of alternate items in power plant and update design documentation.
Establish technical requirements for the procurement, receipt and storage of spare parts and components including acceptance criteria, shelf life, and in-storage maintenance.
Resolve technical concerns during the receipt inspection process.
Assist buyers in resolving questions and vendor exceptions.
Interface with Design Engineering on issues outside of Procurement Engineering responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 1
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 2A
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field with 2-years experience
1-year nuclear or related engineering experience
Completed engineering training and assigned job specific qualifications and skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 2B
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or science or related field with three (3) years experience.
1-year engineer 2A experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 1
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science
Engineer in Training Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 2A
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related science
Solid understanding of core functions performed by the team, with a strong grasp of relevant techniques and processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Engineer 2B
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related science
Demonstrated solid or better results for at least 2-years and demonstrates progress in developing at least half of the key knowledge and skills of a Senior Engineer
