Gas Engineer Co-op (Byram, MS) - MSG00512

Center Point Energy is looking for a Gas Engineer Co-op to join our Team , located in Byram, MS .

You will have the ability to represent Gas Engineering by assisting engineers with a variety of projects. Co-op students will work alternating semesters with a minimum of two terms, preferably three, in which only one can include a summer term. Further summer terms will require the approval of the hiring manager and recruiter.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Assist designers in project design activities.

• Research the status of various public improvement projects.

• Update Access databases and Excel spreadsheets concerning project status.

• Provide project completion data for public improvement projects.

Your background includes:

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

• Requires no prior related work experience.
