Heavy Duty Truck Builder
Location: Brownsville, WI Corporate Office
Division: Equipment Maintenance and Support
Employment duration: Full time
Employee Referral Bonus: Tier 3
This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing fleet that are classified as class 6+.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:
Promote safety – assist with the implementation of all applicable HSE programs, policies and procedures.
Diagnose and repair the following vehicle systems: brake and hydraulics, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition, A/C, electrical.
Install, remove, and relocate truck components.
Diagnose and perform suspension work.
Perform advanced transmission and engine overhauls and/or replacements.
Test components/systems to verify work completed and vehicle is returned to full operational capacity.
Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have completed a formal diesel mechanic training program/related certification, at least 5 years related experience, and manufacturer certification(s). Candidate must be able to provide own hand tools. Basic computer proficiency is needed for this position. Other qualifications include effective oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask.
