As a Drilling Fluids Specialist, you are responsible for providing onsite support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of fluids operations, including analysis and recommendations for controlling fluid properties. This position will also assist in the creation of fluids and solids control programs for the division. Critical for success is strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

What it takes:

  • 5+ years of relevant drilling fluids work experience or related experience

  • Knowledge of drilling fluids operations and drilling fluids cleaning equipment (mud systems, centrifuges, solidification units, vertical cuttings dryers, etc.)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (desired)

  • Drilling Fluids Certification(s) (desired)

  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

  • Travel required. Position may require extended travel, meaning the travel may account for up to 100% of the time and/or limit the ability to return home during off time.
