We want to find an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Platform Owner Director for our US Critical Infrastructure department . This position can be located in Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Hicksville, NY, or Syracuse, NY (candidates may also reside in either Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Maine). What you'll do

As a Platform Owner Director, you'll lead the development and implementation of technology strategies and architectures to enable the organization to achieve its goals. With a focus on data networks, voice networks, as well as operational technology infrastructure and applications, you'll be accountable for the end-to-end experience of the product and service features of their platform. You'll be responsible for supporting and driving their part of the strategic direction of the Network and Critical Infrastructure Solutions Portfolio, including managing the products, features, services and platforms through their lifecycle.

You'll direct staff to clearly define, communicate, document, manage product requirements, and ultimately the delivery and operations of final products and services. You'll be responsible for clearly articulating product vision, documenting and managing the product roadmap, determining TCO/ROI, and the milestones to support product delivery and service fulfillment. You'll also work closely with and manage the successful operations of their platform to ensure products and services are delivered to customers. You'll be responsible for operations, staffing, building business cases, providing competitive analysis, investment planning and prioritization, product performance, and operational and delivery metrics aligned to OKRs (Objective-Key Results). Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the platform to meet the company's objectives and goals.

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and stakeholders to determine needs and requirements.

  • Ensure the platform is scalable, efficient, and secure by implementing best practices and industry standards by working with Chapter Leaders to ensure alignment on best practices and standards and coordinating with Platform Technical Lead.

  • Research and evaluate new infrastructure technologies and solutions to improve the platform's performance and functionality.

  • Create and deliver traceable and auditable customer success metrics for the platform.

  • Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics and report on the platform's overall health to senior leadership.

  • Manage the infrastructure platform within budget guardrails to ensure alignment with company priorities and goals.

  • Align NFRs (Non Functional Requirements) jointly with the Transversal Teams ensuring prioritization jointly with teams.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure the platform's success.

About you

  • Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, or a BS/BA degree or higher in a technical discipline.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience.

  • 5 or more years of people management experience with relevant industry and professional certifications.

  • Experience in strategic technology leadership, IT infrastructure, analytics, and outsourcing management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including articulating complex ideas and influencing in a matrix environment.

  • Strong ability to guide IT financials and lead a diverse team with inclusive culture across geographical boundaries.

  • Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders to deliver desired business outcomes

Salary

Dowstate NY $192,000 - $226,000 a year

Massachusetts $179,000 - $211,000 a year

Upstate NY $160,000 - $188,000 a year

Salary is commensurate with experience and location

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
