National Grid Intern - CXT Change Management Office in Brooklyn, New York
*About the Position*:
National Grid has embarked on a comprehensive Customer Experience Transformation (CXT) program to fundamentally change how we interact, serve and communicate with our customers. At CXT we are taking a customer centric process driven approach to reengineer how we interact with customers. This program consists of a series of process and technology projects whose goal is to enable new capabilities for delivering on an improved experience including replacing end of life digital platforms and delivering new levels of customer self-service and communication across multiple channels.
The Intern, Change Management is responsible for supporting the Change Management Team in implementing strategy and plans to increase speed of adoption, ultimate utilization, and proficiency in managing the people side of change on a portfolio of CXT initiatives (e.g., changes in technology and systems, business processes, organizational structure, job roles, and culture).
*Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):*
Support the change management team in the development of change management strategies, define desired changes and mitigate risks.
Administer business readiness surveys, analyze results and create action plans.
Monitor and analyze adoption KPI metrics throughout project lifecycle.
Coordinate key stakeholder engagement events (e.g. focus groups, lunch and learns, workshops).
Support the development and launch of Change Agent Networks.
Execute project administration tasks (e.g. managing change activities within the project plans, documenting minutes, etc.).
Support the maintenance of the CXT Change Management SharePoint Site
_Knowledge & Experience Required:_
3.2 Cumulative GPA for Graduate students
Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Change Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Development.
Prior experience with change management, organizational design, or organizational development preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player yet possess ability to work independently.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficient at MS Office and SharePoint.
