Position Concrete/Masonry Foreman
Oversee all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
Arrive on the job site before start time and ensure crew is on time, properly attired and fit for work
Walk the job site with all concrete crew members prior to the start of a job
Ensure the site and equipment are appropriately stocked and maintain general upkeep of site in safe and clean manner
Train new workers in the use of equipment/tools, assign tasks and set goals to all crew members
Monitor work performance and productivity of crew members and subcontractors to ensure customer specifications, procedures, safety requirements, etc. are maintained.
Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Maintain relationships with Project/Property Managers, Site Supervisors, Client Representatives and other contractors
Advise superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in resolving such problems as required.
Plan and prepare for the following work day and week in advance and assure that resources are available
Maintain accurate time and daily reports and complete client paperwork as required
Must submit data daily to supervisors
Follows company policies and procedures and enforces safety regulations
Exercise proper care, maintenance and operation of company equipment
Works harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others at all times
Must maintain training requirements and keep up with all operator qualifications (OQ's)
Performs trade and miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in underground utilities (gas, electric, telecom or water)
Valid unrestricted Driver’s License
MA Hoisting preferred but not required
OSHA 10 Certification
DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
Must be able to read, comprehend and speak the English language
