ENGINEER/ANALYST

This position is a member of the Operations Technology (OT) Infrastructure & Cyber Team that supports the OT network for the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The team maintains all domain administration, infrastructure (server, workstations, etc.), cyber security, database infrastructure and Citrix.  The successful candidate should be a positive team player and is familiar with Oracle, SQL Server and Postgres databases.

*Job Responsibilities: *

· Responsible for regular maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of databases. 

· Manage database security, integrity, stability, and system availability.

· Maintain all database instances across development, staging, production environments, installations, and configurations as needed.

· Installation, Configuration, Upgrading and Patching of databases and related products.

· Assists with support of SQL Server and Postgres database systems

· Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.

· Team player with excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills

· Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.

*Job Qualification Requirements: *  

· Relevant and applicable BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or 10 years of experience  

· Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle and PostgreSQL.

· Prior experience with performance analysis, performance tuning and with debugging, identifying and fixing performance issues.

· Experience installing, patching, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle database.

· Knowledge of AD (Active Directory) Authentication and the ability to utilize MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) is essential.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, incorporate innovations, and stay up to date with industry and business directions.

· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
